Don't think when you are not required to



Whenever you think, you'll have some probability to be not happy, as your mind travels to the past, future and to multi direction and that would depends on which delusion that your mind is mining. Even when your mind think about good things there could also be a chance that non good things be present in your mind those could be old bad memory, or simply as uncertainty of the future.

Whenever you are not required to think, as such in work environment, just don't think, just embrace all phenomena, be aware of all happening inside and outside of your body.  as an example when I'm walking in the beautiful morning, whenever I'm thinking of nothing than just watching everything that surrounds me, no perception, just watching it calms the feeling, i see flower, leaves, the sun, people, etc  as beautiful phenomena. But whenever my mind is filled with my own thought, perception, I lose those calmness.

It's really not easy to be at present moment, to stop thinking, and just be a watcher, it requires a lot of practices.it requires nothing than effort to let go of your thought, see things as common visitors to the consciousness, those visitors shouldn't be attached , they just appear then lost in form of perceptions.

Greece Crisis

The last 1 month, the financial news were all about Greece Crisis, as they are not able to pay for debt that they have from IMF. it triggers the stock market to be on panic mode. we can see sell off everywhere.

It's just a small economy but why trigger panic everywhere? and how can they get out of their issue? will Greece crisis cause the world economic crisis?

I personally think that Greece exits Euro zone is the best option as the union will not give much benefit for those least competitive country like Greece, those Euro zone will need to do their reform not just on the trade policy, but also related to tax transfer policy, whereby those least competitive country /small country like Greece will get benefit from those income inequality tax across the Euro, so that the gaps among those countries can be minimized.

Danger of cancer vs Doctor mishandling

It's just a fresh sad news from oven, my friend just passed away on July 9, 2015 after 3 weeks being hospitalized. this is such an unpredictable loss.

Questions i have now.. whether the sickness/desease which cause the death or doctor mishandling. Here is the chronology. A friend of mine called me that he got a colic after drinking 2 cans of coca cola with empty stomach and was asking my advise on whether he should go to herbalist whom i heal my gallstone 2 years ago.

He seems to have gallstone as well in his gallbladder, and 1 day after that call i was informed that he is hospitalized because he was in a severe sickness. and diagnoses from doctor said that there was fat on his kidney and need to do surgery.

Then the surgery was conducted by doctor, but it was not fat and he was told that it's a cancer found in his kidney and doctor didn;t dare to do any action, and he might need to be refereed to other hospital. so they just close the surgery area.

but problem after that surgery, my friend was then put into ICU for 2 weeks and his conditions kept dropping, blood pressure was at 90/50, breath issue. until 8 of July we were informed that he was in critical situation and need to do blood cleansing with the hope that after the cleansing all toxin because of metabolism can be cleared out.

The cleansing takes up 5 hours with a machine. really shocking he passed away after that blood cleansing, which I don;t think it's cause by the cancer, but it's more because of mishandling. ah really sad news. i just don't think cancerous desease will cause death penalty within weeks, he was okay 3 weeks ago.

Mimpi Kekosongan

Ku kerapkali bermimpi..
Mimpi dalam sepi…dan…bosan..
Ku gelisah…Tatkala bayangkan sendiri dalam kekosongan…
Tiada teman…tiada kerabat…sekelilingku kosong…
 
 
Ku berandai-andai..
Andai ingin bermain….apa yang kumainkan???
Dengan siapa ku kan bermain???
Kapankah permainan itu kan berakhir…
Adakah ku kan menjadi bosan, dan sepi lagi..
 

 
15 tahun sudah ku bermimpi yang sama....
Aku takut…Aku gelisah…tatkala ia datang…
Aku lebih suka menghindar..daripada berpikir…

Yang kutahu saat ini cukuplah menikmati kehidupan..

Kala Ku kan Mati



Tubuh ini bukanlah Aku, Aku tidak terperangkap dalam tubuh ini...

Mata, telinga, hidung, tangan ini bukanlah Aku, Aku tidak terperangkap dalam pembentukan fisik ini..



Aku memiliki kehidupan tanpa batas...

Aku tidak pernah dilahirkan dan tidak pernah mati..

Nun jauh di sana, di samudera luas dan angkasa dengan berbagai galaksi..

Semua terwujud dari dasar kesadaran..



Sejak jaman dahulu saya telah bebas..

lahir dan mati hanyalah pintu yang kita lewati sewaktu kita masuk dan keluar..

lahir dan mati hanyalah permainan kausalitas..



Jadi tersenyumlah kepada ku dan genggamlah tanganku dan lambaikan selamat tinggal.. kala ku kan meninggalkan dunia ini...

Esok hari kita akan bertemu lagi, bahkan mungkin sebelumnya..

kita akan selalu bertemu lagi pada asal sebenarnya..

selalu bertemu lagi di jalan kehidupan yang tak terhitung jumlahnya...

The power of Habit

Talking about habitual tendencies, there's great book out there which deserve to have 5 stars rating. it has so many experiments & research on people behavior and habitual tendencies.

For those who want to do self transformation on weight loss, quit smoking, drink alcohol, etc. i reckon you'll find it relevant with the approach.

The book titled The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business  it become more and more interesting. a good resource if you want to start a new transformation.There's also interesting fact about how the company used statistics to capture customer behavior in order to do analytic and approach to win the marketplace.


Smoking is a habitual tendency

I used to be a smoker. I tried so many times to quit but always failed. it keeps me quit for few days and then being a smoker again.


I tried so many times to reduce the number of stick i consumed everyday.. for example just 1 every morning. but when you have emotional issue, it backed and backed again. so  i think you can't really quit by reducing the number of stick you consume.

after so many times with failures, my observation about smoking.. it;s actually not an addiction to Nikotine that makes problem for you to quit. it;'s more on the habitual tendencies. like it's a habit that you have to smoke after meals, as it it tastes so perfect after eating something spices, or as if there's something missing when you drink cofee without a cigarette.

You need to find a good reason to quit, and just a reason might not be enough  too, you might need to find a tool too, a tool in order to manipulate your mind, to provoke your mind or to cheat on your mind.



Few things I tried before I'm able to quit:

  1. My strong reason for quitting is my beloved Daughter .. so i keep on thinking of a reason why I need to be healthy.. why I have to quit smoking. this is the strongest reason for me to quit.
  2. Relaxation & Visualization of how you might be healthy. i did visualization every time before I sleep on how i want to be strong & healthy
  3. Stop  the habitual tendencies, those includes visiting places you used to be when having breakfast, lunch, or might remind you on those fantasies of how delicious smoking is.. and those includes say no to any offer..
  4. When there's a huge temptation to smoke.. this is time when you need to be mindful, you might consider cheating, provoking or switching your mind.. for example when the temptation is so huge..you may do yourself interview of why you need to smoke.. or long distance walking.

Namaku...

Apakah arti sebuah nama?
benarkah nama hanya sebuah sebutan?
yang membedakan visualisasi rupa seseorang dengan lainnya.

Andainya awal peradaban manusia dimulai…
kita memanggil makluk air bersirip bukan ikan melainkan burung…
mungkin sekarang namanya burung bukan?
dan makhluk berparuh yang terbang bukan burung, tetapi serangga..
jadilah makhluk-makluk itu kita sebut serangga…
“Apalah arti sebuah nama” ..itu kata shakespeare
  
Ku bahkan tak mengenal orang yang memberiku nama ini..
dan aku telah dan akan hidup sampai akhir hayat ini dengannya…
mungkinkah nama ini akan tetap kupakai setelah MATI?
akankah  penghuni dunia baru disana tetap memanggilku ..dengan nama lamaku
nama michael kedengarannya bagus.. sepanjang sejarah manusia..
mungkin saja telah ada jutaan orang dengan nama ini.. di dunia baru itu…
kelihatannya dunia baru itu akan lebih kompleks… kalau saja “itulah arti sebuah nama”
  
Tetapi banyak orang yang hanya karena sebuah nama….
melahirkan pertikaian..kesalahan-kesalahan..
nama yang bahkan tak mereka mengerti asal usulnya…
yang katanya demi ini…demi itu….
kalau saja “itulah arti sebuah nama”
  
Nama dan rupa… bukankah hanya ilusi kausalitas…
Ataukah memang Kausa Prima merencanakan nama dan rupa?

Hukum karma VS Newton

Hukum Newton I: Setiap benda akan tetap bergerak lurus beraturan atau tetap dalam keadaan diam jika tidak ada resultan gaya (F) yang bekerja pada benda itu.

Hukum Karma: Nasib sebagai akumulasi karma masa lalu bersifat tetap tanpa adanya resultan perbuatan (didasari kehendak bebas selama kehidupan) tindakan didasari cetana (keinginan). Yang akan terjadi pasti terjadi.

Hukum Newton II: Setiap benda akan tetap bergerak lurus berubah beraturan diberikan resultan gaya (F) pada benda itu. Percepatan akan berubah mengikuti banyaknya gaya yang diberikan pada benda.
Hukum Karma Nasib akan berubah menjadi lebih baik atau lebih buruk mengikuti banyaknya perbuatan (didasari kehendak bebas selama kehidupan). semakin banyak perbuatan baik semakin banyak potensi karma penghancur penderitaan, semakin banyak potensi karma buruk sebaliknya dapat menyebabkan terakumulasiinya potensi karma yang merusak nasib.

Hukum Newton III: Jika suatu benda mengerjakan gaya pada benda lain (benda kedua) maka benda kedua tersebut mengerjakan juga gaya pada benda pertama, yang besar gayanya = gaya yang diterima tetapi berlawanan arah. ( Gaya aksi= Gaya reaksi).
Hukum Karma Setiap akibat pasti memiliki sebab. Segala fenomena mengikuti hukum sebab akibat yang saling bergantungan.
